- Membuat kuah : rebus ayam setelah mendidih sisihkan ayam, masukkan bawang putih yang sudah digoreng dan dihaluskan kedalam kuah lalu tambahkan lada bubuk, garam dan irisan daun bawang. Bisa tambahkan tulang2 ayam.
- Membuat toping ayam : haluskan bawang merah, bawang putih, kunyit, jahe, kemiri dan ketumbar lalu sangrai dengan 2 sdm minyak goreng setelah harum masukkan daun salam dan sereh, masukkan ayam, kecap, sedikit air dan garam.
- Membuat minyak ayam : panaskan minyak, masukkan irisan bawang putih dan kulit ayam angkat saring ambil minyaknya saja.
